Electric Heaters vs Gas Patio Heaters

Natural gas heaters provide a lot of warmth in well-ventilated outdoor spaces.

They can be placed almost anywhere outdoors that is open and ventilated since they don’t need a standard wall outlet and power source.

Natural heaters have a greater heat output than electric patio heaters due to the combustion of natural gas.

They are also the most cost-effective types of patio heaters. And there won’t be an issue of running out of gas as there would be with propane heaters.

Propane Tank Heaters vs Natural Gas Patio Heaters

  1. The Hiland Silver Glass heater referenced in your article is NOT natural gas, it’s propane! Too bad, it’s good looking and is exactly what I was hoping to find.

    1. Hi Stu,

The item I was linking to changed. All the info I had in there was the right model, natural gas, when I put the article together. I’m glad you mentioned it. I updated the post with a natural gas model that is similar looking. But at the moment it is out of stock. Please note, it doesn’t have all the same features as the one I had here before that you saw. It’s a basic model, but still pretty.
